PowerFLOW and XFlow offer world class Lattice Boltzmann (LBM) for high fidelity simulations that accurately predict real world performance. Fluid Dynamics Engineer enables multi-scale multi-physical vision by embedding CFD into design, simulation, optimization, data management, and business intelligence applications within the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. This enables engineers to focus the majority of their efforts on design iteration and optimization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-coblocks-dynamic-separator is-style-line\" style=\"height:20px\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Fluid Dynamics on 3DEXPERIENCE<\/span><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Fluid Dynamics Engineer Role on the <strong>3D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE platform is a CAD &amp; PLM-embedded CFD approach to drive improved product performance based on design criteria such as optimal flow distribution, efficient energy management, minimal pressure losses, flow uniformity, and reduced recirculation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Fluids discipline covers steady-state and transient internal and external flow around and through solids and structures using Computational Fluid Dynamics technology. A fully-featured Navier-Stokes solver is used for native roles on the <strong>3D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE platform. Internal and external fluid domain models can be developed directly from the CATIA or SOLIDWORKS design geometry providing an integrated modeling &amp; simulation capability. On the <strong>3D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE platform, fluid simulation methods can be defined, stored, replayed, and maintained allowing customers to develop and centralize on their own best-practices to increase quality, reliability, and efficiency of structural validation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-coblocks-dynamic-separator is-style-line\" style=\"height:20px\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Plastic Injection Molding<\/span><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plastics Injection Molding is used to validate and optimize plastic part and mold tooling designs by simulating filling, packing, warpage &amp; mold cooling early in the product development process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Plastic Injection Engineer role allows you to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Virtually test the performance of plastic part and mold tooling designs with an intuitive, guided simulation assistant that minimizes the learning curve<\/li><li>Cover the needs for all industries, all key workflows, and all user personas with a single role<\/li><li>Predict common molding defects including: weld-lines, sink marks, air traps, and incomplete filling (short shots)<\/li><li>Evaluate the effectiveness of mold cooling system designs<\/li><li>Apply advanced structural capabilities available in the <strong>3D<\/strong>EXPERIENCE Platform, such as&nbsp;
